Via AI
Via is an AI workspace built for the insurance industry, where an agent works alongside you, reading your files, using your tools, and running real multi-step work with a broker in the loop. It's built on the Claude Agent SDK, the same foundation Anthropic's Cowork runs on. I co-founded Via and lead its product, design, and engineering.

Overview
An agentic workspace built to meet the needs of Insurance brokerages - where a bulk of the work previously was manual document-heavy tasks that was perfect for AI to fully automate. The aim was to automate all document processing workflows, freeing up hours of time for internal staff and give them a secure alternative to ChatGPT or Claude.
Built on the Claude Agent SDK
Under the hood, the agent runs on the Claude Agent SDK with its own tools, memory, and connectors, Drive, Slack, Notion, a private search index, web search, and browser control, so it gathers context and takes action, not just answers. A workflow engine ties it into operations: any change to a record can fire an agent and return a structured result.
The agent does the real work
Documents and data flow in, and the agent drafts the comparisons, proposals, and forms the industry runs on, works the back and forth, and produces finished, review-ready artifacts. Before, this was all manual, parsing 100-page PDFs and copying and pasting back and forth for hours. Now it's done automatically and handed to staff ready to review.

Inside the product
One workspace ties it all together, the AI copilot, enriched records, document generation, and automation, all over the same live data model and connectors. It was built as an internal tool for insurance agencies: the CRM-style workspace they already know, but with agents built into the core.
