Recur
The platform behind branded NFT marketplaces for the biggest names in entertainment — Paramount, Nickelodeon, Hello Kitty, and more. I was employee #4 and a founding product designer, building it 0→1 with the founders and leading the design system the whole company ran on.

Overview
Recur built bespoke NFT marketplaces for the world's biggest brands. I joined as employee #4 — a founding product designer — and worked directly with the founders to build the product and the vision from zero, then helped scale the design team as the company grew.
A marketplace for every brand
Every marketplace had to look and feel unmistakably like the brand behind it — Paramount one week, Hello Kitty the next, then Nickelodeon, Star Trek, TMNT, Care Bears.

One system, reskinned in hours
Early on, every launch was a one-off — custom design and build per brand, weeks or months each. I led the design system that changed that: a token-based foundation where color, type, and spacing get reskinned per brand, so a whole marketplace could be restyled to a new brand in hours instead of weeks.

From a launch shop to a platform
As we scaled, we turned Recur from a custom launch shop into a self-serve platform — where brand teams could create, launch, and manage their own drops end to end: building packs, setting rarity, and tracking sales and analytics.
